OUR APPROACH TO DATA
Connections you can
put in context.
Useful organization intelligence needs more than a match. It needs a source, a clear relationship, and an honest account of what’s known.
The process below is the standard we are building toward. Our real dataset and ingestion workflows are still in development.

01START WITH PERMISSION
A source is only a beginning.
Publicly available does not automatically mean available for resale. Before a source enters a customer dataset, we plan to review collection, reuse, redistribution, and transfer permissions for the specific use.
Unknown rights keep a record out of customer delivery.
02PRESERVE THE ORIGINAL
Keep the trail back to the claim.
Source identifiers, URLs, retrieval dates, and applicable terms belong alongside the original record. A normalized organization should not erase where its information came from.
A source record and a canonical organization are different things.
03RESOLVE WITH CARE
Similar does not mean identical.
A matching name, domain, or street address can suggest a connection. It cannot establish one on its own. Ambiguous matches need review, and merge decisions need a way to be reversed.
Keep ownership, management, branding, and affiliation distinct.
04MAKE UNCERTAINTY VISIBLE
Show what the evidence supports.
Relationship assertions should include the supporting source, review status, and verification date. Conflicting claims, unresolved relationships, and aging evidence need clear labels.
AI-generated enrichment is a claim to verify, not a source of truth.
05BUILD FOR CHANGE
A useful record can be corrected.
Our planned release process includes versioned snapshots, source-aware refreshes, and correction or removal handling. Historical evidence helps explain what changed and when.
Quality and coverage claims must follow measurable evidence.
A CLEAR PRODUCT BOUNDARY
Organizations.
Not patient records.
PractaGraph is focused on dental businesses and permitted professional context. Patient information, clinical records, insurance claims, and other protected health information are outside our scope.
